Arlette became a Director of The London Centre for Leadership in July 1998 when she moved to the UK. She co–runs it with Derek Wood, the founder of The London Centre for Leadership.

She specialises in individual and organisational Change Management and has been working in this field for over 12 years. She is an associate faculty staff member with Henley Management College and has run programmes at CEDEP, part of INSEAD, one of Europe’s major business schools. Until recently, she was the president and co–director of an association of independent consultants (Carrière Globale), based in Geneva, Switzerland, aiming at professional development at individual and organisational levels.

In her work Arlette focuses on the impact of change on people, enabling individuals and teams to manage it for themselves and for their organisation. She has worked with many senior teams and she believes there is a direct correlation between motivation and empowerment and excellent business results. Arlette also has a wide range of experience in Valuing Differences and Cultural Diversity. She works with middle and senior management in various countries, cultures and languages. Her native tongue is French, she is fluent in English (her main working language), has a working knowledge of Spanish and a good understanding of Italian. She has lived in France, Switzerland and the U.S., and has worked throughout Europe developing a high sensitivity to both national and organisational cultures and differences.

Her key values are integrity, respect and development. They guide her in the way she approaches her work and her clients with whom she seeks to establish an open relationship. After completing university in Nice, France, Arlette has been an English teacher, has owned and run a restaurant and held various positions within Digital Equipment Corporation in Geneva, where she spent seven years gaining experience in Training and Consultancy, and in Organisation Development and Design. Her other activities at the time included being responsible for Personnel issues within the start–up team of an Area Manufacturing Organisation in Paris and a member of its management board. She then joined Sheppard Moscow Ltd, an international change consultancy firm as a senior consultant, and one of the directors.
